Okay. What's with the sudden population influx?

[Buffy's wandering through the town, looking concerned. These poor souls, dragged here at Christmas. Too many New Feathers for her to feel good about anything. Something is definitely up.]

I'm afraid most if not all of us don't have an answer to that.

You can't be certain of that, though.

Sometimes? They come back and tell us that they've been home. But not everyone. So there's really nothing definitive about it. Which, by the way? It sucks. Majorly.

While I'd agree, this is the first time I've been exposed to this type of predicament.

And if this is indeed an accident, then what would become of us? . . . Yet another unanswerable inquiry.

Well, I don't think the Malnosso are gonna throw a party when they find out, if that's what you're asking.

I agree, I doubt they will. . . . Would they attempt to eradicate the anomalies?

It's a thing they've tried to do with anomalies before, sadly.

Meaning they might do it again . . . It's not an entirely comforting thought.

Which is why we need to get you wingless folks out of here as soon as possible, before the cavalry shows up.

I hear you on that, but how are we supposed to get out?

And now, we're back to the big unanswerables.

We're stuck, in other words.

As if we're in really extra-sticky mud, yeah.

This is a very troubling situation. And to think you've had to deal with something like this many times before, it's unsettling.

Exactly. I consider myself to be very unsettled.

Do you remember anything from before you got zapped here? That could help.

I'm able to recall everything but how I arrived. The last thing I remember is helping out the army.
