Which Door Would You Choose?

I just spotted this meme on my friend Kiba's page and had to respond:

You find yourself in front of seven identical doors. A voice from above tells you, "These seven doors lead to seven different places: Narnia, Neverland, Wonderland, Hogwarts, Camelot, Middle Earth, and Westeros." Which door do you go through? Why that door? What happens?I would ( Read more... )

Narnia. It's funny because at least three of the other choices are from books I LOVE more, but I think when it comes to LIVING in any of those places, Narnia would be most pleasant to live in. At least if it's not during the White Witch's reign or the Endtimes. I know it's just for a visit, but I'd still be worried about something terrible happening while I was there if I went anywhere else (though Middle Earth would probably be next if the door led directly to either The Shire or Rivendell during peacetime), and I'm afraid I'd just get hopelessly lost and confused and frustrated in Wonderland!

Have fun in Narnia. Don't eat the Turkish Delight! :)

^ I had a slightly similar reaction in that Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is my all time favourite story, yet I would choose Hogwarts. Simply put, I would love to have magical powers, and in Hogwarts the kids have these- in Alice they don't. Any magical things that happen to Alice are largely out of her control (well they are partially within her control I guess, as they are somewhat dependent on what she eats) but she can't just choose to turn into something, fly on a broomstick or magically unlock doors etc., and when she goes back to the real world she is just plain old Alice again.

Interesting, and true: each of these realms deal with magic and unusual abilities in a different way!
