This scene from Watership Down, with the beautiful song 'Bright Eyes' still
makes me cry. This movie is one of my childhood favorites. I think it's a shame
that it's so hard to find an animated film these days with such deep emotion.

When I was a kid, two of the cartoon's I'd regularly watch were Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake. I liked these cartoons because they had some pretty fun villains (such as the Purple Pie Man and No Heart). The villains always had a goofy 'evil' plot which was always foiled by the good guys.

Last night me and Stephen went to the opera and saw 'Il Trovatore'. It's the story of a gypsy woman seeking revenge on the old count for burning her mother at the stake.
