Challenge 45 Banners!
With apologies for the slight delay: Congratulations tempertemper, sweet_lyri and teragramm for your winning entries for Round 45, "Potentials". This was yet another round where voting was extremely difficult and I hated leaving anything out; I could have voted 5 different times and come up with five different slates. I love it when I have to double-check the original screencap to determine if certain effects are part of the source image or not - in this case, the glare of light off the bus is not part of the original image but certainly looks it in in teragramm's icon. Wonderful use of grainy textures and "polaroid" coloring for a subtle retro look and feel. (Honorary mention to tempertemper's beautiful b/w Kennedy icon.) And because I am all about the alts - I made alternative banners for tempertemper's and sweet_lyri's multiple prize-winners. I've seen other banner makers do this regularly at other comms - something to do more often here or no? What say you to the practice?
