You're very welcome! An excellent choice for Mod's Choice (starry's choices are always stunning, she has great taste. )
This background is a layering of two images I shot in Maine - the background is a stone gargoyle on the roof of an antique store in Hallowell, Maine, with a bonfire from the same trip layered over it (and extra grunge effects.)
Such a great choice to use the fantasic gargoyle like this! It goes so well with the fire and the added effect! And thanks :) Good to see you caught up and will be making icons and banners again. (You could still sign up at lims_btvs for about ten hours...)
I don't think I'll sign up at lims although I got your message about wanting to compete against me again (was that you? I think so) and I LOVE the idea - that would be fun! But I think I sort of screwed it up for myself for my comments that one time (I apologized but haven't heard anything since and don't want to step on any toes.) Maybe with the passage of a bit more time...
Re: the banner, I made like five variations and this was the last one; I like how the icons pop in contrast (except for Emma's; I should have adjusted the brightness or color because her icon just sort of blends into the background, alas.)
That building was so cool, we came to the maine street of Hallowell and I told my sweetie, I HAVE to go look at that. It also has stone buddha heads on it. It was closed (Sunday) but hopefully the next time we go there it will be open, it's one of those "stuffed to the gills" places that looks a bit dark and dusty and cluttered. My type of antique store!
I think I'm finally caught up with my "backlog" (well except for one whedon elite round) so maybe I'll start actually creating icons and fic banners again? Here's hoping.
