Summary: Scully and Brennan get stuck in the elevator together blushing ensues
Chapter 1 The building was currently undergoing maintenance and avoiding elevator use would be the smart thing to do, but I stepped in right after her, and moments later the elevator came to a stop as the power went out.
“It looks like we may be here for a while Agent Scully,” She spoke softly, and her voice startled me. I was completely shocked that she had addressed me by name, but when I went to question her she simply pointed at my ID. The elevator was silent, but she quickly decided to break the uncomfortable silence that had settled between us. “Booth warned me earlier about the elevator, but I couldn’t resist. I wanted to see if you’d follow me in as always,” I blushed and quickly averted my gaze. “I’m glad we’re stuck in here, now I can finally ask why, so Agent Scully, why is it that you follow me?” I continued to gaze at the floor refusing to answer as my face became flushed with embarrassment. “What is it that has you trailing after me,” She whispered softly, but I continued to keep silent. “Is it my breasts,” She questioned softly and I knew she’d caught me staring at them, and as I cautiously began to look up at her again my eyes fell to her breasts, as if they were intentionally defying my wishes, and leaving me even more flustered than I had previously been.
“No, I, I mean, um, they’re nice and all but,” She laughed as I stuttered my response, and couldn’t help but smile at my own stupidity. “Your eyes,” I whispered, “They’re so captivating,” I murmured as I stared into the crystal blue orbs, “You could get lost in them,” I added.
“If you keep blushing like that I might have to take you right here,” She murmured breaking the silence that had once again settled in the elevator. Slowly I felt my burning cheeks cool, but just as this happened she spoke again, “How would you feel about dinner,” She asked. I was taken aback by her simple question and I was left completely unsure of how to answer. I was sure that she saw the uncertainty that lurked in my eyes as she reached out and gently stroked my cheek. I felt myself melting into her soft touch, and I knew that I wouldn’t be able to refuse her offer.
“I’ll go,” I whispered, as her long slender fingers continued to play on my cheek, and with those two simple words she leaned in and brushed her lips to mine, and the elevator began moving seconds later.
