I knocked on the appropriate door. Or, what I hoped was the appropriate one..
With no response as yet, I sat there in the cold and waited..

A face came to the door, one I recognized.

"Rupert, is it your custom to allow your Slayer to let Vampires go free? Especially blonde ones?"

"Hello to you too, Sean," Giles replied, letting the young Watcher into his home. "Spike is an exception I'd rather not go into right now." He pointed to his couch. "Tea?"

I massaged my temples and accepted his invitation.
"Yes, please." Slayers.. exceptions? What, like Lothos? I hoped not.
I'd heard of Slayers loving vampires and demons before, but I'd never believed it possible.

Giles set up about to making the tea. "So, what brings you to Sunnydale?"

"Council stuff. New Slayer, no watcher.."
I shrugged. It all seemed so confusing..
