Casandra sighting, Doctor Who Contest and Wallpaper
This is my first post on lj after a long time of absence so forgive me that it's mostly copy/paste from my DeviantArt blog and group. My PC is broken so I'm writing this from public library. There had been some problems with my LJ too but it's seems they're fixed now. Post under cut contains:
- inspiration or tribute to Cassandra from Doctor Who I found at local bookshop
- about Doctor/Rose/Jack contest at DA
- couple of Nine/Ten and Nine/Ten/Rose/Jack wallpapers
I was browsing the local bookstore the other day. Usually I read parts of new books but this time I leafed trough this funny book, actually collection of crude cartoons with witty text. Not the type of book I usually go for but I liked it. Here is exhibit A taken by my mobile
And then I find this!
First I stared unbelievingly and then almost laughed aloud when I've read the text. There was Cassandra in flesh or rather skin. Except this Cassandra didn't go trough sex change. I know RTD is pop-culture fan so I was not surprised (after I recovered from shock) but still I would like a little confirmation on when drawing was made. I cound't find info on the google. Who is giving tribute to whom? Is this connection common knowledge in the fandom and I somehow missed it? Delighted mind wants to know. Also this further confirms my disbelief in the coincidences. There was really small chance for me to pick up that book and see the drawing.

And here is some WP I made awile ago but I didn't post it 'cos I wated to add icons (I made gifs too!) that are now stuck being useless in my broken computer. Oh well, I'll just add them when I fix it.
