I realized that my iOS calendar app wasn't going to make "importing" calendar data easy the way google calendar app allows. That's why I downloaded Google's calendar app. I think in the past, when iCal was around, importing data was possible but I haven't tried that, and since I began using the bundled calendar app on my iphone for my work schedule, I've been enjoying the ways my iPhone interacts with it. I previously used google's calendar for this (on an iPh), but the powers that be in management didn't comply with their scheduling system to allow for easily manipulating data, and because I work in an area of government, the security required for synching my government google account requires security apps which I don't really understand. There is a certain freedom about NOT having my phone linked to the government email account.

Maybe. I still have a couple old androids. I just need to wait until the contract for an alternate number I'm using ends.
But it looks like the downloaded Google calendar works fine on my phone for keeping track of the home game dates. I can also set it up as a widget for at-a-glance references.
