Good news!! I have my bookmark back. I made some changes to the table above to reflect the color coding that I have on my bookmark designating about the time when I created it, when I started work and when I predict a good time to retire might be, but that has nothing to do with the story of the Millennium Trilogy. So what I've done to the table is hi-lite the years I think the story is supposed to take place. Part one starts off in December 1974 2002, but part two is supposed to continue the story two years after the debacle that ends in part one. That's why I'm not 100% that 1974 2002 is chronologically correct. According to chapter headings in part two, The girl who played with fire, the dates correspond from December 16 (a Thursday), to April 7 (a Thursday). According to the purple text color I'm using to indicate the dates for the months Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, and Apr, (1976-1977) 2004-2005, the sequence of events continue too early from when parts of the events are supposed to have taken place. Then again, despite the indication in the book that two years lapse from the time that the Blomkvist sees Salander, this might have been meant to have read like a rough estimate. Had the chapter been meant to be more accurate, the two protagonists in the story would've seen each other after only one year and a half. Otherwise, any other part of the year would show that more than two years lapsed since Salander departs Sweden to travel a bit.
