LMAOOOOOOO! I'm scared to get swine flu, but when I heard about it on the radio and they called it a "pandemic" I thought that too!! And SOOO MF Madagascar! Unless it starts there it will never reach it!! *waves fist*

Haha! I'm not particularly scared about this one, just because it's likely the fatality rate is no worse than say a really bad flu would be. But I admit, I was thinking about the game too when I heard the news about the swine flu, despite not reading this until last night. XD

And there are ways to infect Madagascar without starting there. Managed to do it a few times last night while playing. But there really is a huge luck factor. And a couple of those times, I screwed up and left somewhere else uninfected anyway.

LOL I hate Greenland too :(!! But I really suck at the game.

It sounds scary since they said there's no way to differentiate from it and a normal flu... so what's the difference!

The hospitals can tell when it's lab tested. The point is, there's no way to differentiate it from a bad flu, but I'm guessing that's because that's all what it is.

As long as it doesn't have anything near a 100% mortality rate, I'm not going to worry about it. With modern medicine, keeping people relatively healthy shouldn't be a problem, and articles seem to suggest that people are recovering from it.

Is it sad that when I heard OMGPANDEMIC, I automatically thought to Pandemic 2 and all the ways I could get this flu to spread and how many turns it'd take to infect everyone? Oy.

Last night I watched the Blu-ray release of Motherf**king Madagascar 2. That movie was full of hippos. Good think they're not swines!
