*eyes narrow* oh, THAT is not fair! you can't make orlando take a potentially dangerous detour when he's finally got up the nerve to tell sean! *pouts*
I really, really liked Maureen, particularly since she actually managed to knock sense into orli when even viggo couldnt do it. for me, her story was even more tragic, because a character in one of my other fandoms is named maureen and i had to keep reminding myself they werent the same person; otherwise, I would have been balling :(
excellent update, can't wait for the next chapter, and im so glad you're back!
I know what you mean about name association. Whenever I hear a name in a story that means something to me, I immediately put that person into the same role and I get all emotional too. Happens to most of us. LOL!
I love Maureen. As I told someone above, I came up with the idea for her sitting on a bench waiting for hubby to come get me (he went to another store at the same time). I put myself in her place and I think this is the way I would feel.
I'm afraid this detour might be of "Epic Proportions" when all's said and done. I'll just sit here and stew in my own curiosity and impatience for the next chapter.
Woo Hoo! I just made my way back over enemy lines (seriously, RL has been waaaay too hectic) - the enemy lines being dealing with sick kids and employee problems.
Yeah, Orli's on a detour. But things have a way of ...well...I will be posting the next chapter this week as well as a one-shot I just wrote.
I've decided that I will write everyday no matter what's going on - for my sanity as well as everyone else's here at home. LOL!
Lovely chapter! The part of Billy's car breaking down was sort of a deja vu from what Maureen just told him ... I hope he will get around to tell Sean the truth ... and safe him at the same time ...
Yes, it is a kind of portent - Billy's car breaking down being compared to what happened with Maureen. I don't want to tell you what happens next, but Orli will be sticking to what he decided - to tell Sean everything - it's just that some things will have to be dealt with first.
