That was truly a very scary movie. Esp the part where Jess sees the eye looking back at her at the end and you realize he's IN THE HOUSE!!!!
And the scene in the attic.
That's how horror movies should be made. *nods head*
The remake? Oh God!!!! *spits* They show you the killer, he eats part of his victims, there's a mondo huge body count, it's incredibly gory, they show you his history. It's just bad.
Rowan will no doubt be some kind of princess, and with wings probably. Last year she was a dutchess (so cute) and the year before a fairy. She's quite girly that way. :)
Was there a slasher fic made in the 80's that didn't have Jamie Lee Curtis in it, LOL?
I really/not really want to see Rob Zombie's version of Halloween but I'm too afraid :O
I like Final Destination parts I and II but I thought three was lame. The highway scene and the ending in part II were awesome.
Your kids are so cute. I wish mine were still that young when it comes to Halloween. I've always made their costumes and done their hair and make-up. I do a very mean (and prize winning) zombie face.
Black Christmas is a freaking scary movie. I remember watching that as a kid. I haven't watched the remake though.
Yes, Virgina, there were horror movies made in the 80's that did not have her. LOL! God, I love that part when they start disco dancing in Prom Night and then the part where Caveman Lou gets decapitated instead of Nick.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I've seen the trailer of Rob Zombie's latest creation and it looks pretty gory. I'm getting a little sick of the gore to tell you the truth. John Carpenter's Halloween was AMAZING!!! There is not one drop of blood seen (well, there probably is) but it's implied and it scares the hell out of you all the same. I must admit though, Rob Zombie and Halloween does beg to be seen.
Yeah, that highway scene is to die for. Literally. I thought the second was better than the first and I didn't even bother with the third.
Thank you! They are cuties. :) I've made costumes and have bought them. I saw this one in the store and bought it. He's such a Star Wars hound.
And Black Christmas is a very scary movie. See what I said about the remake and the original in court1429's comments above. A

I am so not writing killer sheep into the cannibal verse. Not even having Mikey FUCK the sheep and...
Oh God! Ted could so fuck the sheep. And when they go on their murderous rampage because of the trauma of the forced sodomy at the hands of Ted that they suffered, they turn into cannibalistic sheep.
And instead of eating Ted, they accidentally eat Mikey. But they miss, and only get one of his kidneys which would now leave Mikey without one of his kidneys and his spleen.
Then in an urban legend type of spinoff, someone takes his liver, which of course leaves Mikey without his liver, one of his kidneys and his spleen...
Ew ew ew. No horror movies. The only one I ever (sort of) watched was "Vincent Price's Tales of Terror" or something like that. I was eleven years old, and traumatized forever.
That said, I have no idea why I love your horror-inflected fic so much.

OMG I SAW the trailer for Black Sheep awhile ago...someone got some of the shit cooked up in Anita's basement!
Hmmm....I see a fic coming out of this. Or maybe just incorporated into "Look Ma"

I could do this forever you know...

Oh, wait.
He never had one of those to begin with.
I KNOW! It eats his testicles!

The brain! God I forgot that one too! Or is it, God forgot to put one in Mikey? LOL!
Ewww....testicle eating zombies.
Now that's just ridiculous.
So Mikey has no testicles, no brain, no liver, one kidney and no spleen.

I know of the movie of which you speak. That would be very traumatizing.
When Alien first came out, I was 15 and my sister was 25. She needed therapy after witnessing that alien popping out of John Hurt scene.
I said 'cool.'
:P
