the white bubble are probably ick. do you have a heater in the tank? dannios guppies and tetras usually like the temperature to be about 78. you also may want to try taking a sample of your water to petsmart or something to have it tested. umm at petsmart they have this thing where you get 10 fish for $10 if you have a petperks card. i have 3 glass fish, 3 zebra dannios, 3 sunburst platys and 4 white clouds in my tank at the moment. its a 30 gallon, we just recently converted it from half water half land for the toads to a full on tank. and i put the fish in there the same day i filled the water in the tank up fully before it was half full. so far only 1 of my white clouds died and thats cause it was one that the toads must have attacked and was weakened. i also have 2 marble shrimp and a blue mystery snail and a black mystery snail...i also think i still have one african dwarf frog in my tank. the fish i have a pretty hearty . you may want to try getting some live plants because they help build up bacteria and stuff. but yeah you ( ... )

ah mystery snails are fun to get. they dont breed so you wont have them over running your tank and their pretty big and they help with algea. it love watching them crawl around the tank i think at times their a bit more active than the sucker fish. i have some banana plants. their neat http://www.aquahobby.com/garden/e_banana.php i have a couple of them and theyll float at first until they root themselves kinda like lily pads and the fish love hiding in them. their pretty hearty little plants too.

oooh those are pretty plants, we'll have to test one out! Mystery snails, i'll have to remember to keep an eye out for them.

Oh today on the rock I noticed two patches of white algea.. it almost looked like spider egg sacks :/.. I was expecting to see Green algae...

Fake blondes have more fun gnotobiotically January 30 2007, 14:32:10 UTC
I finally watched the LOZ trailer. I'm not really sure what to expect from it, since it is a low-budget indipendant film. I kept doing a double take at the Link character because something just looked "off". I finally realized what it was. He's a fake blonde. :P

I remember having guppies. They're so fun to watch. I cracked up when I read about Vlad eating the Beta fish. As disturbing as it is to lose a fishy, cats will be cats. I recall thinking of it as a mercy killing when I first read about the Beta's demise.
I hope your fishies get better.

hehe, yea i busted out laughing when i saw Link in the first shot, but then as the trailer kept going i found myself getting into it.

yea, it really was a mercy killing, i had no idea what was growing on his back and while it'd get smaller then bigger again, i couldn't get it to go away.. He had a long life for a beta :)

The Tetras seem much better today.. the only spots left are just a few on the fins!

The guppies.. they're just weird. They're complete spazes and today they decided to do something new.. they "tag" the heater... really quickly like they were burned.. they just rub their sides really quick almost like they were itching, but don't touch it for more then a minute and on the part where the bubbles/heat comes from. First one would do it, then the other would copy the first. ... they sure are crazy.
