Here's what he said, "John is usually the one for clues and such, but 'here's another clue for you all... the teddy bear that appears in your second dream, Is a dear friend of me-Paul!'"

I'd take that as a hint, it was you!

Wow! Very vivid. I won't be seeing Sir Paul at the party after all. Oh well.

Vivid when it needs to be....

My dreams are very surreal, always. I "know" I'm "somewhere" and I "sense" sometimes "specific people" but often don't actually see them or the places clearly in my dreams. Very trippy.

But John, Paul and the alligator-type lizard were very clear and vivid.

Too bad about not seeing Paul. To quote Bob Dylan: "I'll let you be in my dream, if you let be in yours."

not doing reggae? slatts August 25 2009, 13:27:07 UTC
I know. Where'd that come from?

Maybe. Someone sent a song link with a reggae version of "With A Little Help From My Friends." I never had a chance to listen to it. But maybe, subliminally, it was there.

And Paul gave his opinion.

That would have been awesome, the beatles doing reggae......someone should have suggested it! I wish they had in your dream at least

They really did sample just about everything. Only I think reggae hadn't really made a big enough appearance in the '60's. It was much later (late '60's, early 70's) when we (US) first heard Desmond Dekker (The Israelites - 1968) and Jimmy Cliff (The Harder They Come - 1972) and our first introduction to mainstream reggae.

Those were some funky dreams! anonymous August 25 2009, 18:49:55 UTC
Hey Slatts, Dave Mintz here -- wow, what kind of tea did you consume before bedtime? I want some!! The "not doing reggae" thing cracked me up big time. Hope all is well with the Mittys; as always, I'll try to make it to Artsfest!~

Cool!

Great to hear from you, Dave!

If you miss ARTSfest (or prefer "closer to home"), the Mittys will be playing the following weekend (SEP. 19th) at Tin Can Alley at the Canal Bowling Lanes in Southampton. Opening for Kutylowski-Searle-Lapinski from 7pm to 9pm.

"Take the skinheads bowling!"

I did.

The Paul dream was OK. An enjoyable one.

The alligator dream rather freaked me out like those Sunday night panic-dreams or those "you-F'd-up-your-job" work dreams. But it was time to get up anyway.

I'm just surprised I remembered them so clearly as I very often don't.

Thanks for the morning chuckle!

We still talk about "Laura's Gators" every year we return.
