Springtime… Farmer Smurf was glad he could start working in the open air, Poet Smurf was dedicating his next odes to spring, and Vanity Smurf was going through his wardrobe to pick his style for the upcoming season.
The atmosphere in the whole village was one of cheery anticipation.
The whole village? Certainly Grouchy Smurf could find a reason to complain, didn't he?
Feathering a kiss on Pastrycook Smurf's ear, even the grumpiest of them all was clapping his hands at the return of springtime. "We will soon have our naughty walks in the forest back!" he was saying, ecstatic.
