Hee! What a bummer! You come back from Canada the day before I go! You'll have to give me a run down of what to do when i get there. How's life, the universe and everything? How you getting on with parts 2 and 3 of the new crossover fic? Looking forward to your feedback babe!

*hugs*

You may already be done with Seattle, but must-do day trips in that area include the Snoqualmie Falls (20 minutes east), the wineries in Woodinville (30 miles northeast and cheap), and if you're feeling particularly ambitious, the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. It's about 3.5 hrs south on I-5, and there are so many gorgeous waterfalls! Another great day trip is the Olympic Peninsula, although the Hood Canal Bridge is closed this month so you'd have to get there either on the ferry or thru Olympia (add on 1 hr each way driving). Go to Port Angeles and then to Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, and all the hiking trails around there. The Hoh rain forest is an additional 2.5 hrs west from Port Angeles. If you're still in Vancouver and like Indian food, try Vijay's (I may have mispelled that). They've been reviewed by the NY Times and are awesome. Their Chinatown is great - I have friends who drive there from Seattle JUST for the food ( ... )

Oh, I forgot - from Vancouver, you can take the ferry to Victoria. They have the Buchart Gardens, which I definitely mispelled, and it's just a really cute place. They're really into English teas there - you can get tea at the Fairmont Empress Hotel for $70, which is outrageous, but it's SO worth it. You have to dress up though. Enjoy!!!

Thank you very much for the info! It's good and I did do many of these things... when I went to Vancouver/Seattle in 2007! :-)
