Great! It's good to see some story between Greg and Spike. With Greg trying to prevent Spike from falling apart. Very moving series!

I sure as hell know a week isn't long enough for me (I'm still not done with the crying at random intervals), I'm sure it's not enough for any of them, much less Spike. His pain just breaks me.And I'm gonna miss Lewis every single episode. ;_;

He feels like a branch on a cliff-face these days and only prays that he won't snap with the weight of everyone else's sorrow.

Greg is such an unassuming soul that it's easy to take his quiet strength for granted.

I saw the "slash if you squint" rating and thought eh, I don't think so, but then...

he's touching Spike's mouth, rubbing his thumb along the seam of his lips.

...and my skin went all buzzy.

"It's going to be okay, Spike." An echo of Lewis's last words.

Gah! *wibbles* Not only does that make me tear up again...my heart is taking it as permission from Lewis for me to start shipping Spike with Greg. *weepy chuckle*

It really isn't...It was tough to watch the new episode still. :( I definitely would rather still have Lewis than anyone else. And she made a bad choice of words. 'Replacing him'???! NOOOO.

~hugs you lots~ As soon as Greg went to hug Spike I wanted to write this. It just took me a while to get to a point where I had time and could. Glad you liked it.

P.S. As for shipping Spike with Greg..I would read it, for sure. I'm not sure how many people will read this, given that it's not the pairing people want for Spike, but I'm really pleased you gave it a shot. x

Awww... so heart-breaking and so beautiful at the same time! I love the irony of Spike asking Greg is he's okay when it should be the other way around. Also the fact that after that they talk about it. It's amazing!

I don't ship any of the team, so I'm sort of skipping quickly over the slightly slashy middle part, but overall this is lovely.

Oh, god. That is exactly what we're all wondering. The first two episodes of the new season have been so heartbreaking..

There's just not enough Flashpoint fic out there. Well done!
