Quick Question...

Am I the only one that cried like a baby when I watched Brokeback Mountain? lol

I watched it for the first time today (Finally!) and I cried so hard during the last 20 minutes!

Sorry for the randomness, just had to get that out LOL!

Are you kidding? I sob every time I watch it. Like, openly. Have you read the story? It is INcredible. Annie Proulx is God.

Me too! I had gone to the theater with 3 friends and I held it together until the very last shot (looking out the window), then the credits and lights came on and my one friend and I started bawling out eyes out at the epic tragedy of it. I've watched the movie several times since and to this day cannot watch anything after their last time together at Pine Creek. Personally, I didn't care for the short story - it didn't affect me nearly as much as the movie. Long, disjointed sentences, annoying writing style. Can't believe she won a Pulitzer Prize for it. I've heard all her stuff is depressing.
Lots of good fanfic around, though! :-)

I know! I completly lost it when he was clutching the shirt at the parent's house and he was crying :(....But SO much good fanfic LOL!
