the old blue volvo had to go. welp. this is what's replacing it. bought used, of course, so much less than listed here. and i qualified for a loan [payments, meh, otoh, will help with this yet again credit rebuilding].

SO.

now i have a pretty car that's safe and comfy. onward, to continue saving money for Anat Baniel courses which start March 19

I did buy a two year everything included warranty, and i'm shelling out for the all inclusive death/disability/layoff policy too. i had one of those on my mortgage back in the day when i owned a house, and that's what saved the house when i ended up on disability for a year- things are just iffy enough i figure it's better to be cautious. then if nothing happens, well, ok.

so far, so good. i went on the elantra-fans website and found lots of good ideas for cleaning out the cigarette smell, too, and did a bunch of them yesterday after work and already by tonight it wasn't as bad. so. so far, it's all good.

plus, red. i've never had a red car before. *G*
