attending the simon and garfunkel's concert in rome was one of the most awesome moment of my life and now watching him discussing his music and his creative process.. well, it's amazing, really!
oh man. wouldn't THAT be fun! oh, i hope you do TOO. (you do know about alibris.com, yea? i find a LOT of 'new' books there, fairly quickly, used, for not very much. odd, people and books, but it works to my advantage!)
very interesting. i liked how he compared songwriting to a comedy routine, where a new note feels fresh to the ear even though we're not aware of it particularly. 'lovely to hear still crazy after all these years' partly written. and maybe i'm crazy, but do you see a touch of johnny depp's face in his? the quiet-ness and obvious intelligence about him, too, but i was even seeing some in the shape of his face and maybe his eyes a bit.

he's brilliant isn't he? and dick cavett was no slouch as an interviewer/comedian. great combo. you can tell they're comfortable with each other.
