Travels: Unexpected benefits

So, finally.

I started my trip on May 23rd by staying down at my son's house in San Francisco. He came, picked me up, and away we went.

The next day, before seeing me off at the 'New' San Francisco International Terminal (where I enjoyed the Calling the Earth to Witness exhibit of statues of the Buddha over the centuries) we went to the Annie Read more... )

Dale Chihuly's pieces are a world of beauty I wish I could have the chance to see them for myself and not just in photograph!

i also love chihuly. we have a huge sunburst piece of his in our institute of arts. what an amazing way to spend your days, creating in such a manner!

I absolutely love Chihuly. I saw an exhibit of his work when it was displayed in Kew Gardens, in the largest glasshouse. It was the most perfect setting, amongst all that lushness and the tropical flowers.
