Hope you lose that sinus headache and those kidneys get sorted out soon. :)

::pets you gently::

I have to take Wiggle to the gastroenterologist first thing tomorrow, and the cardiologist later this week. Whee. :P

Best of luck with those finals and papers.

::hugs::

oh, you know. liberal applications of water are the best medicine for them, followed by some actual sleep, and perhaps a good walk later, and a good 'not for any particular reason but on general principles' cry. just to clean things out.

*snuggles*

oh, man. no new problems, i hope? do you like Wiggle's drs?

eh. just papers and finals. when i'm sane i try not to give too much of my power/energy to worrying about them, and put most of my school-juice toward just /doing/ them.

::hugs back::

Crying has been found to release chemicals in the body which build up and cause depression. That's why you feel better after a good cry. Let it out, my dear.

Wiggle has excessive gas and constipation which I felt was related to his Ehlers-Danlos. The doctor examined him today and agreed. He put him on MiraLax and they're doing a workup for celiac at present. Had to get a stool sample today; oh the joy of explaining to your incredulous 13-year-old boy that he's to scoop his poop and put it in a jar to hand to the lab tech. I'm surprised he complied but he's pretty mature about these things. They took 5 vials of blood from him though, 4 redtops and 1 purple. I felt so badly for him, he's so painfully thin and tiny, I thought he might faint. They're testing his pancreatic enzymes and such. We have a strong family history of IBS to begin with, my sister has to take pancreatic enzyme supplements and hubby's mom has Crohn's so lord knows what my poor kid is in for in the future. :P
