we've talked about this, but i have to say again how much this entry touches me. again, it rings so true, and fits with what we know about this orli so well. my heart's both broken and hopeful at the same time.

it's such an odd situation he's in, by his own birth/surrogate/adoptive/inherited family- more than most a set of threads connected by knots, instead of a tight weave all of a pattern.

and he is loved, and part of a family, and he knows this, at least here in this world- and yet that other need calls him...
