Nothing like wanting something really alot to help one move toward it.

Nearly 18 years ago, about the time I was desperately needing to go back to Uni and not knowing quite how to do it, my mom sent me a copy of Your Money or Your Life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin. I read it, did some of the nine steps, was able to weather a major depression ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry to hear about your check and billing problems. I'm glad you asked for the overdraft reimbursement. Like you said, whether or not they'll do it is up in the air but it's the fair and moral thing to do (but business is not a synonym for fair and moral). The kind of work you're doing (and have done) to meet your goals is great. Those things don't really work for me, but I love it when others are able to make their plans come to fruition. And not letting things set you back is great.

yeah isn't that annoying? sheesh.

And this time i know it's not cos i'm too disorganized, cos i've got my program RIGHT THERE and it's all working. so.

Not heard anything yet, but i'll give them a bit longer- probably re-email tomorrow, let'em think about it over the weekend, then call on monday.
