I do not think Singaporeans react to lesbian couples in public - I've seen several over the years and everyone around politely pretended they weren't there. (Except my mom, who always pointed them out to me in a disgusted voice. And me, who covertly watched them with fascination.)

That's - good, I think? The polite indifference thing. I found them fascinating, too, even though they obviously weren't like the immensely attractive people I read about in fics, but they were so sweet.
