Fuck the war crimes tribunal, lets jsut go straight to the execution. No I don't care if living in agony is viewed in their religion as having an awesome afterlife.

I believe that is just a concoction anyways, designed to try to convince captors to treat the captees as kings so that they may be punished in the afterlife.

Before the Romans there were Assyrians, where the Romans got the idea of making adquaducts. The main difference is that Assyrian aquaducts were what are now known as Qanats or Karez and they were underground. The entire middle-east and a lot of North Africa is lousy with ancient Karez. In Afghanistan, that's where the Mujahadeen hid a lot of their supplies, weapons, and whatnot.

You have a point but if the Nazis had won they would have just been executed and the Nazis wouldn't have bothered with war crimes trials.

It would also be a completely different world. Let's just be glad that they didn't win, eh?
