WHAT IN HECK *$()@#*!)@$!?!

WHAT IN THE HECK?! After 1-2 weeks of going through and sending my old archived e-mails from the VMS VAX to one of my other e-mail accounts, I suddenly discover that Microsoft Outlook has DELETED SEVERAL of the e-mails I forwarded to that system! WHERE IN THE HECK DID THOSE 100+ e-mails go?! They WERE here on Friday, but now they've VANISHED

Oh no! I've had that happen before, although I've been able to use my ISP to retrieve some of the messages, have you tried seeing if the source of those messages can find them? Otherwise, hrm...is there a possibility they might be "cached" somewhere or anything? It seems as though nothing is ever *completely* gone after all, but it can take some work to find things. But if you think it might be worth it, it can't hurt!
