I have to remind myself that I need to buy that bootleg copy of Spellbinder from the bootleg DVD guy at MicroCon --;. I wasn't sure if his copy contained series 2, Spellbinder 2: Land of the Dragon Lord. Fox Family Channel only showed part of the series before it was completely pulled off the air for some unknown reason. I NEVER got to see the ( Read more... )

I hate bootlegs. Not because they're bootlegs, but because every time I buy an obscure show on a bootleg DVD it gets licensed the next day. XD

Case-in-point: Last year at MegaCon my Lady buys me Silverhawks and just last month it was announced. :p

Oh well, I still paid $50 for the entire series as opposed to paying about that much for just "Volume 1" of the licensed version coming out. And the quality will probably be just as good... XD

Hi Silas,

Actually, Warner Bros. announced it would put out Silverhawks on DVD earlier this year ^^;. A good place to find out which series will be released or not along with rumors is to stalk TVShowsOnDVD.com. That's how I found out that Silverhawks would be coming out as early as fall of last year!

I seriously doubt Spellbinder will come out on DVD here. It's a pretty obscure show that was produced in Australia to boot --;. Since Thundercats was such a huge success for Warner Bros. DVD wise (It was in the top 10 most bought DVDs on Amazon's list for the first week.), I thought there would be a pretty good chance of Silverhawks coming out as well. I'm still trying to figure out if Rankin Bass' subsequent series, The Comic Strip, which had Tigersharks will come out on DVD as well. If Silverhawks does well too, Warner might be greedy enough to do just that ;)!

I'm so gonna send you a load of dvds of computer files of stuffs @.@ ... The computer is wireless bebe, start taking it with you places and latch on to open wireless signals. You need to poke me sometimes. I procrastinate and when I forgets things when they not in front of my face.

I luv Spellbinders too! I only saw bits and pieces. Eventually everything will be out in DVD or Blu Ray, or whatever format comes out tomorrow. I have ISIS on legit dvd!!! Ooooohhhhhhh... So don't worry that show probably is out professionally In Australia, and it's somewhere on You Tube or digi file on the net somewhere!

Why you not have internet? Is not expensive. Really truly get yourself some cable internet. Avoid ATT Uverse like the plague tho, really. Get a good cable digital internet feed. If you bundle with your normal cable tv and/or digital telephone it's maybe 40 bucks on the monthly bill.

LICK!

Hi Mooncat,

Spellbinders was available on DVD in Australia only for a short while. Now it's not anymore --;.

We have cheap internet at home (i.e. $100.00/year), so we only have about 28.8 kB/s ;b! At work, we have 1 Mb/s, and even that's too slow.

I used to pay for my sister's high speed internet and digital cable TV. That cost $120.00/month from Crapcast o~O! She was supposed to pay me back for the internet part, but she hasn't. She owes me ~$7000.00!

I LOVE The Secret of Isis! It was one of my favorite shows growing up! Did you get Birds of Prey yet on legit licensed DVD? If not, I'll get it for you X)!

This year, I'm going to send you goodies on your official unbirthday too, finally!

This is off topic Sonia, but I figure you are a good person to ask on something. Do you remember a brand of cookies from the late 70's, early 80's that were based off the classic monsters? There was Dracula and Frankenstein and the like. They were basically shortbread cookies with maybe some icing if I remember right. Also I remember Cookie Crisp having a vanilla wafer line of cereal.

I can't be crazy for remembering these things.

The monster cookies weren't a cereal and they were shortbread as far as I remember. I think they had icing as well.

I know. I was being ridiculous and an ass. XD Sorry 'bout that. I'm nutty and bubbly and loud in person, sometimes the lack of inflection online tends to kill that and people misunderstand me. ;)

I think I remember what you're talking about vaguely, though. I'll have to think about that one.
