Comic artist Michael Turner is dead o-O?!

Comic book artist Michael Turner has died of cancer Jun 27th. Why didn't anyone tell me Turner DIED almost a month ago o~O?! I only found out because of a dedication in this week's DC Comics on the last page!

I know! I didn't hear about it either, until I was looking at a random blog last week, and scrolled down to see the entry that they had mentioned it in. I wasn't the biggest Turner fan, but Fathom was beautiful when I was collecting it after it first came out.

Some good came of me finding out about his death, though... reading the various pages about it (and probably his entry in Wikipedia), I found out about the Soulfire book and ended up going out to purchase one of the TPBs (Chaos Reign). Now I have to get the others, lol.

It was the same weekend as Wizard World Chicago. I remember it because it was during WWC last year that Ringo passed away.
