Oh cool, you got Arthur's autograph!! There has to be a way to be able to get in touch with him; I'll see if someone else from the show isn't still in touch somehow
( ... )
I think the last time I checked the forum, the off-topic area was starting up unwanted SPAM again ;b (i.e. that other thread that generates post counts).
Yes, manga IS addictive o~O! I finished Chobits a long while back, and I loved it. Most of CLAMP's stuff is pretty fun, so any of their other titles would definitely amuse you as well ;)! I tend to read the shoujo and comedy stories myself, and there is just so much out there O-O!
I thought I'd update you a bit...a certain someone has posted in the SQTV forum saying how he misses your posting there! Of course, he rehashes the facts that caused your absence in the post, but geez, he's sure a piece of work! You certainly aren't obligated to go back and post, of course, I just thought I'd pass along that amusement! I swear, it'll never change (or rather, he won't)!
I actually have a hard time picturing you watching the "I Fucked Ben Affleck" Music Video. Just anything involving vulgarities and you is just a weird thought. I do want that on my Ipod though. As cheesy as Affleck is I can't help but like the guy for having a sense of humor about himself.
I turned off the Oscars after Golden Compass won Visual Effects. I have a hard time believing that talking animals which have been done for years now and CGI backgrounds are more inovative then giant robots that individually have thousands of moving parts each that by Michael Bay's rules HAVE to all be present when transforming. No disappearing pieces when going from truck to robot. But, nah, all that effects works and practical effects is nothing to a talking bear and a green screen. That is SO much more inovative. Fucking wankers.
I didn't know what I was getting into myself until I actually saw it if that's any consolation XP! I'm so glad I watched the BLEEPED version though. I'm not used to hearing that word ^^;.
Remember, you're talking to someone who didn't learn about the F-word, what it was and what it meant, until COLLEGE O~O! The S-word was the only swear word I knew, only because Dad used it, but when I learned it wasn't something one should say, I stopped using it. Right now, the closest things to swear words I use are damn and crap ;b!
Oh, I saw the super manga books today at B&N! Wow! But honestly, I don't like them. It's too hard to keep the spines intact. xD It is cheaper though. :/ Is it just one publisher? I didn't really look, I just remember seeing massive volumes of Kenshin and Fruits Basket. The Furuba one was even hardcover. o.O
Hi, sorry for the late LATE reply --;. I was out last week with the stomach flu.
So far, I've seen Viz, TokyoPop, and Del Rey make these super massive manga books. Del Ray has a collection of Negima! out, and TokyoPop has collections of super cheap Magic Knight Rayearth besides Fruits Basket. Viz is planning on expanding their super manga to Dragonball in the next month or so too with the better paper and color inserts.
Yeah, their phonebook size has me somewhat worried about the spines too, but still, they cost less than half the amount of the 3 original manga books put together o~O!
