Hi Chris,

My left cheek is more swollen than my right one because of the extra pulling the dentist did on the left side. My face now looks like a square because of the swelling --;!

Oh, the joy of having your teeth pulled out. Not fun. Hope your recovery is quick.

Sounds a bit like my wisdom tooth experience, two years ago! Wish they had put me on laughing gas. I basically got the freezing and that was it.

I hope you recover quickly and are back on normal foods soon. :)

I'm glad you made it through the surgery okay; they knocked me out when I had mine done, and when I woke up, I still didn't remember much about how I got home, which was fine! The pain though...it wasn't fun. I don't remember seeing the teeth afterwards, I don't think they showed me, but I don't remember at all! They gave me codeine for the pain, but I'm allergic to that, so I didn't take much more than I think Tylenol.

It wasn't so bad overall, except when it came to eating "hard" foods again. You'll know when you're ready for those, because it'll HURT until then. Especially with things like tortilla chips!

Do a lot of peroxide swishings; not only are they good for the healing, but it'll make the rest of your teeth REALLY white! Just don't swallow it!
