Actually, the fried oysters and chips were a bit disappointing, sadly --;. I thought the oysters didn't taste as fresh as they could have been. I still have this craving for fresh oysters though, which is why I bought them ^^;.

That's what my sister and her hubby do. They drive to our house, park there, and walk to the Fair. I'm too lazy, so I drove a couple of blocks to Bethany Church to park-and-ride to the Fair ;b!

Hi Judith,

Our State Fair is only 2nd in the country supposedly compared to TX's ;). The sparkling apple cider float looked pretty easy to make. All you have to do is buy some bottled sparkling apple cider, chill it, and put in a scoop of ice cream. I think vanilla would probably make for quite a nice substitute in case you can't find cinnamon =9!

Mmmm sounds like good food! Food is always the best part of events like this. Even when I go on the cruises, my favorite part is the food! We could stay in the Florida port the whole time for all I care!! XD
