We got a call from the repair shop again Friday. It turns out my 20 year old car has more problems with it besides a dead brain. Apparently the fuel injection system is also shot, so the owner advised us NOT to get it fixed. He felt it was still fixable around $1100.00 when it was just the dead brain but not with all the other problems he found ( Read more... )

Aww, that poor car! Sometimes I guess it's more practical to get a new (or healthier) car in place of the expired ones, but one does get attached to these little helpers and seeing them go kaput is sad ( ... )

I think there are at least a couple of BIG anime conventions held in WA every year, but their names escape me at the moment --;. If you attend, take pictures of BIG Kiki Kitty for me, please 8D?

I still like going to bookstores a lot. I like seeing books 'live' in their 'natural habitats' X}! Half Price Books is great though since they have a wild selection of books (new, overstock, and used) at HALF the retail price! You can pick up some nice bargains there!
