Okay, here is one last post about Peter and Kathleen Tomarken's recent death. This is an e-mail from Laura Chambers, which some of you might remember from GSN's early days as well as her work behind-the-scenes on The Weakest Link. Hi Sonia,

That's very sad. Laura is a wonderful person, I used to chat with her on AOL back in like '96 or '97. She even offered to have lunch if I ever made it out to CA.

As far as posting, the Invision boards would probably be ok. I would be happy to post it if no one else offers.

That sounds like it was really special. ;_; Glad they shared that.

I plan to make a donation to that cause, but wasn't exactly sure what to fill in on their donation page, so wanted to find out whose name to put, and if you put in their memory, or what. What did you do?

I'd say if GSN has a bad forum of sorts, invite people to the SQTV forums; I mean, Joe (Res4cue) posts fanatically off-topic with Fire Engines, so why can't you guys talk Game shows? There's plenty of Game show fans, and I think it would be fine to have them join in. Perhaps not a huge legion of fans, but ones you enjoy chatting with and who also might have enjoyed SQTV. I can't see Brian or Henry having a problem with that. I can bring it up to them if you want, or you could PM/E-mail them even?

Hi THE Jill,

When I donated, I chose it was for a memorial and made it out to Peter and Kathleen Tomarken as the receivers. You don't need to enter their snail mail address. I also said in the note section that this donation was for the Tomarkens' Heroes Fund to make sure my donation does go there, and that was it!

Actually, I've been trying for AGES now to get some of my game show fan friends to join the SQTV Forums, but I haven't had much success. Either their lurking, not interested, or don't have the time to go there XP! I'm quite surprised by the recent rise in game show fans joining the forum though. I don't know any of them, but it's interesting to note ^^;!
