"I know what you mean. I have that same kind of thought when it comes to color.
I think the only way to define color is to attach it to an object that has the same color. But we can't really say what the color is. I know I'm not the only one to ever think this but. what if my blue is your orange and vice versa. I wanna see the color you see and I wanna share and compare my colors. I just like to think that. Grass is green but my green is your white. And my sun shines like your cloudy day ... Oh my brain!

You were also spot on about the reasons why *I* hate to debate people. I so hate talking to a wall.
"Show, don't tell" is the mantra I've been hearing since the moment I first began writing seriously. And you're right, it's a lot harder than it might seem to a non-writer -- but when it works, it's awesome.
