I'm a bad Buffy fan. Show doesn't sound interesting to me :( Nathan's cute.. but unless I <3 the actor against reason (like, say, if Tom Lenk were in the show... or Alan Rickman), I just cannot be prodded into watching things that sound ... like, dumb. :) Err.. not dumb, I meant..

is it cynical when you've been burned a bunch of times?sunflower_pixieMarch 13 2007, 04:57:35 UTC
it's on fox. sadly it won't be up to minear, fillion, acker or any of the other actors (i'm particularly exited about melanie lynsensky (sp?) of heavenly creatures fame, and kristin lehman). because it is on fox, some random dart throwing contest will occur around may and if we are really, really lucky, the darts will land on shows that are actually worth keeping around.

Nope. Well, yeah, I guess that is the definition of cynical, but it's an understandable kind of cynical.
My feeling is that you shouldn't let that keep you from watching a promising new series -- even if you are disappointed by cancellation, it's worth the treat while it lasts. Besides, you never know when a "failure" might get ressurected, as Star Trek, Firefly, and the Buffy movie were. I'd have missed being treated to Wonderfalls and Joan of Arcadia!

in the meantime, badger is on bsg tonight and he said the word "shiny" - shockingly enough his character on bsg is a bit of a pickpocket. :)

that's awesome.. I haven't seen BSG yet (though I want to very soon). Look forward to seeing him.

I think Fox is doing better (I love House MD for example)... hopefully this show proves they've changed for the better.
