Gene stood in the bedroom doorway, watching Alex as she moved around the room, turning down the bedspread, fluffing the pillows and straightening the duvet. Nude as she was she still moved with the haughty elegance that entranced and enflamed him in equal measure. Finally she slid onto the bed and patted the mattress beside her.

Don't put the pokey stick away just yet hun - I've just started on a lengthy Chris!fic - yes, a proper fic with a plot and chapters and everything! Don't look so surprised - I can do plot you know, and no smut (although where's the fun in that?) and proper characterisations.

I mean it though, there won't be very much smut (although there will be some because, hey, it's me writing it). I've got the prologue down and have plotted the first 5 chapters.

Those last lines were sheer desperation. I'd promised b-j I'd post it yesterday and was fast running out of time - hence the poorly written, error-strewn chapter it turned out to be coz it was unbetaed and virtually typed straight into my lj!

I'm glad you liked it. I'm sorry the last chapter was so short and so rushed. It was just that I'd promised you (again whilst drunk, see how easily led I am) that I'd post it last night and I would have felt awful if I'd let you down.

As for my reward - I'm not sure which I'd prefer : a drink, a bucket of water or Gene in (unpickable) handcuffs!

Hmmmm - a hard decision and one I shall have to think about ROFL!
