I can't get behind the whining that it doesn't go far enough. Ha ha, are you kidding? Less than an hour ago I wasn't insurable in this country. NOW I COULD GET INSURANCE.

IN FACT, NOW I COULD GET MY PARENT'S INSURANCE.

That's a big fucking deal for me, and there's gonna be a lot of people out there like me.

Not as big a deal for me since I'm (currently at least) insured, but the future looks pretty good. :)

*dance dance dance* We can iron out the kinks later, America. Now, when I get cancer, I have options other than "suicide"!

I'm with you. I would have never been able to buy private insurance before today. Luckily it's not something I have ever had to worry about as I've always bern in school and under my parents insurance or now in a job that provides insurance. But it's nice to know that I can choose a job that may not provide insurance.

Hm. I've been employed before, even steadily, and I've never once been offered insurance. I had it through school for a while, though.

I'm lucky enough to work for the state of WI. I'm lucky enough to get one of those "Cadillac" plans that are so disparaged. I don't like to brag, but my health benefits are pretty fucking amazing.

Congratulationnnns! I have been SO WORRIED about what I'm going to do when my da's insurance drops me this fall, and now I have viable options! Which is more than I allowed myself to hope for.
