I just love Chief/Aaron Douglas in any way, shape or form. (Except scary skinhead Chief, that was a little disturbing.) Boy, he's aged most drastically since the show began. We watched that little commercial for the series from Sunday night, with clips from the first season, and he looks like a BABY in comparison.
I'm so tired of Adama angst, I could puke. I've started mentally skipping over those scenes. And word on the female-characters thing: that's really burning me up, the longer this (and every other show I hear about) goes on. 'Cause life ain't nothin' but bitches and hos, or something.
Except for Roslin and Starbuck, there are no non-Cylon women left in the cast, yeah? And Roslin's been knock-knocking for the last half season, and Starbuck's not-that-human anymore and was never terrifically femme to start with. It's okay when there are lots of other women of her age group, but it's somewhat blatant now.
Part of me hates Dee's suicide and part of me loves it. It is a bit WTF but at the same time, there was something really beautiful and stark about it. But there was no hesitation, no indication. I found that scene better than the final Cylon reveal.

Otherwise, it was a "yay!" episode for me.
