this is a really touching story. a bit on the verge of becoming OOC, i think, but managing to balance quite well. and Holmes is done juuuust perfectly. so thank you!

I like the way you have them talking at cross purposes. Especially that "yes!" from Holmes when they realize that they have been. Very interesting!

Yeah, totally different planes, they're on. Holmes can't seem to fathom anyone else's train of thought, and Watson is too angry to care about what Holmes is thinking (lest he just get more offended).
