Giotto is the last creation of the Legendary Doll Master Ieyasu Sawada. He was given the original name of his crestor, Giotto, as part of the Doll Master's price for being able to live the rest of his life peacefully. He was left in the care of Ieyasu's family after the Doll Master died, adn was then passed down from generation, to generation to the first born child as a family heirloom. His tenth owner is a boy known as Tsunayoshi Sawada. Who is by far the youngest person to have Giotto in their care, but the only one of Giotto owners that was able to bring him to life with his flame.
Because Giotto was made to look exactly like his creator there is some suspicions ammong other Doll Masters that part of Ieyasu's spirit, or flame, resides in the doll. Though such a thing is considered a taboo no one has really looked into it.

Hayato Gokudera is one of Tsuna's few friends, and a loyal ally. He's a fairly new, but still well known, Doll Master. His doll is designed to look like the legendary doll master G. Gokudera received his doll from his mother as a family heirloom. He, like Tsuna, was the first in his family to be able to bring the doll to life with his flame.

Another of Tsuna's few friends, and his ally. Yamamoto had never heard of a Doll Master, or known his potential to become one until he got to know Tsuna and Reborn. His doll is family heirloom that is designed to look like the legendary Doll Master Asari Ugetsu.
Takeshi Yamamoto
An ally of Tsuna's, and big brother figure. Ryohei is an unknowing Doll Master who has been using his power since he was young, he just never really realized it. His doll is designed to look like the legendary Doll Master Knuckle, and is his frequent sparring partner.
Ryohei Sasagawa
The youngest of Tsuna's allies, and more like an annoying little brother then a friend. Lambo comes form a family of Doll Masters, but has yet to choose a single doll as his partner. For now his favorite is a black bull, how ever eventually he will inherit the family's doll which is designed to look like the legendary Doll Master Lampo.
Lambo Bovino
A reluctant ally of Tsuna's. He has shown potential to be a great Doll Master, however he would rather fight his doll, who is designed to look like the legendary Doll Master Alaude, or Dino. He doesn't particularly like the style of fighting that most Doll Masters use, instead perfering to defeat his enemy him self.
Kyouya Hibari
Chrome, more commonly known as Nagi, is the Doll Master of the forbidden doll Rokudo Mukuro. She is, for some reason, able to hear his voice even when he is in his doll form. Though she's shy, and a little herd to get through to Tsuna considers her a friend, and important ally.
mistdollmaster
Rokudo Mukuro is known as a Forbidden Doll, and under normal circumstances doesn't need a Doll Master. This comes as the result of an experiment by his previous Doll Master who took the soul of a human, and trapped it into a doll's body. The experiment was a success, how ever Mukuro killed his former doll master, and many others in revenge. Eventually Mukuro was caught, and a seal was placed on him so he could not bring himself to life any more. After a series of events Mukuro was given into Chrome's care by the old Doll Master that had been keeping an eye on his seal. He is now "bound" to Chrome's will when she uses her flame to make him human.
He is, by default, an ally of Tsuna's since his Doll Master, Chrome is an ally of the boy. However Mukuro cares very little for Tsunayoshi, and his little friends.
Rokudo Mukuro
Royhei's little sister, and Tsuna's crush. She, like her brother, has the ability to be a doll master though this ability remains dormant so far. She is only vaguely aware of what really goes on with the dolls, and Doll Masters.
Kyoko Sasagawa
An up beat and quirky girl who frequently visits the Sawada family's Doll Shop. She originally didn't like Tsuna very much, but after an incident where she, and Tsuna, were in trouble she mistook Giotto, who saved her and Tsuna, for Tsuna and has since become enamored with him. It's unknown if she has the ability to be a doll master or not. So far she has not shown to be able to manifest her Flame of Life, and is only vaguely aware of what really goes on with the dolls, and Doll Masters.
Haru Miura
A well known Doll Master, former student of Reborn, and older brother figure to Tsuna. He often tutors Hibari, per Reborns "request", in how to fight along side his Doll. Dino's companion doll is known as Romario, and has been in Dino's family for a few generations.
Dino Cavallone
Reborn is, in Tsuna's opinion, his crazy tutor/trainer. An expert Doll Master, and gunman. He's one of the famous Arcoblaeno, best of the best. His doll is the a chameleon named Leon that Reborn can make change form. Reborn is training Tsuna to be a doll master of the same level that his ancestor, Giotto "Ieyatsu Sawada", was.
