Ethan must be coming down with something... he's been refusing solid foods today and will only nurse. Now i don't really care if he wants to nurse, but he's making my nipples HURT like mad. I'm trying to distract him with other things, but it's not working

Drink a ton of water!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I totally denied that this was the solution to the problem for 2.75 children. Then I blinked, counted how many glasses of water I'd consumed on days that I WASN'T dying from nipple pain, and then counted the glasses of water I had drunk the rest of the time.)

Yes, the lactation consultants are right. Drink more water!!!

I did up my water a bit, but i've noticed he's also leaving teeth marks.. :-P little stinker....

Also, give Ethan more water. He was eating solid food just fine at dinner as long a he had water to go with it. And the more water he drinks on his own, the less he'll try to get from you.
