We were driving and he says to me "Why dos this say Jo anne (emphasis on the e) fabrics?" I realized after a second he was sounding it out.... i do not know anyone who says that... he was reading.

That's either a freak event, or Liam is pulling some serious prodigy action. Have you tested him with other words since?

I pulled out a 1st grade "reader" book and he sounded out "Cat" "dog" "mom" "dad"... then i wrote out "Ethan" "Liam" "Cove" "Graham" "Janet" "Karl" and he sounded out all of them... he did get bored after that and started saying any word that came to mind ;-)
