Oh, come on! There's got to be at least one that you'd just as soon skip?! "Maxwell's Silver Hammer"? "Octopus's Garden"? "Paperback Writer"?

These are my top choices for the extremely annoying and/or blergh! The Beatles songs. Doesn't mean I don't know the lyrics, though. Like a character in "Sliding Doors" said: "Everybody's born knowing all The Beatles lyrics instinctively. They're passed into the fetus subconsciously along with all the amniotic stuff. Fact, they should be called "The Fetals". " :))

Granted, though, in a tremendous body of work, only a very few songs I wouldn't count as favorite. For me, that is unmatched by any other artist.

"Maxwell's Silver Hammer?" I love it. Also, "Octopus's Garden." :-) I'll give you "Paperback Writer." But only just. "I wanna be a paperback writer. Paperback writerrrrr!"

How can you say that "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" isn't wonderful?! And "Octopus's Garden"??!! You could have said "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?" :-D

See, I love every song by the Beatles. Maybe it was implanted but ... I didn't even know about them until I was 8 years old -- when "I Love You" came to the US charts.

The Beatles just ... are. Just the best music, performed by the best band. Even "Why Don't We Do It In The Road."

.... Maxwell Edison, majoring in medicine, calls her on the phone ....

I like Eleanor Rigby, too. One of Paul's better efforts.
