Share your PC!? anonymous December 9 2011, 04:57:01 UTC
I know a lot of gamers use PCs, but I've always been an Xbox junkie so I'm drawing mine to show off like the shameless fan I am!

In the mean time, I wanted to know if anyone had steam pics/art/anything else, of their Dovahkiins? All the cool hair styles, details, races, classes! How can anyone make a bad Dragonborn?! They can't! So show yours off!

Ugh. Yeah, that's one thing that bugs me about having the X-Box version, myself. No screenshots.

Would've gotten the PC version, but this is the kind of game that just begs to be played on a nice, big 50" TV...

Agreed, wish there was an app for the new update that let you take snapshots and save them to your Cloud drive. That would be amazing. For the Xbox of course.

My drawing skills are lacking, so I have a screenshot of my sneaky Nord lady, Djarfskald. :) Don't have one without the Dark Brotherhood outfit on so the hair is hidden and, oddly enough, this is the only shot of her that appears to have her smiling. XD

I will say that I loved the fact that you could give your PC a scar. So snagged one of them and even gave it a reason. :P Okay....I'll hush up now.

Who did you marry? And why? Can you provide any back stories? Are you happy?

I totally ran up to Jorrvaskr and married Farkas as soon as I got the amulet of Mara, but now I kinda wished I'd tried Vilkas out before hand, he seemed a bit more excited to marry me than Farkas did. Hmm...another playthrough might be in order lol

lol, at least when he said 'dear' that was cute, but yeah...Farkas-sword-wielder to Farkas-home-maker was a bit awkward.

Problem with formatting anonymous January 3 2012, 12:53:49 UTC
I normally use open office to write with, but I've noticed it stips out

    stips out?

Hmm...I use Open Office for everything from kmeme fills to term papers, and all I know is that it has that problem with keeping formats through different programs. Never had a problem copy and pasting into live journal though, or fanfiction.net.

Wonder what everyone else uses? - and if there's a better free writer software out there.

I use Open Office as well and never had any problems with it. The only thing it doesn't copy are bold-printing and the likes, or formatting, for which I use simple HTML-commands. Other than that, no complains. In my opinion the best writing programm out there for free - I don't know how many times that auto-save function saved me when my laptop died on me....

So I've been trying to work out the timeline of events in Skyrim as I'm writing something which flashes back between the present day and events during the Great War... and I'm kind of confused ( ... )
