What a great use of crossover premise! It's really cool that the Doctor took Hermione to see Camelot, whilst the levels of fiction and meta-fiction are mind-bending. Loved the Doctor's indignation at the cancellation and the traditional Doctor Who rationalisation of the seemingly magical with the Accelero spell. Also, as I read this I kept thinking that it would be great to see the flipside as well: the Doctor in Hermione's world, where she can use magic while his Sonic malfunctions badly. But with that last line you did something even better. I really enjoyed the fic. I love both characters.

Thanks! This is my first crossover, actually, so I'm glad it went well. But as long as we know that Harry Potter is fictional in the Whoniverse, why not just go with it?

And Hermione returns to the Muggle world next summer, and begins lobbying the BBC for Doctor Who to be brought back. =)

And then the Doctor comes to visit her, and they have a massive Old Who-watching marathon! The Doctor is totally the type to yell at the tv screen while watching.

Thanks for reading!

=)

Sad thought, though -- in Hermione's world, David Tennant was cast as neither the Tenth Doctor nor Barty Crouch, Jr. How sad for his career!

In Hermione's world, David Tennant has not been cast as the Tenth Doctor--yet! It's only the early nineties in her timeline. I would like to think that around fifteen years in the future, she happens to turn on the tv and gets the shock of her life to see her Doctor on the screen.

I know I've said this before, but this is a really excellent fic! Hermione's reactions to the TARDIS and to Camelot are great, really spot-on. And I loved the Doctor's initial melancholy, and his indignation at his show getting cancelled. The library-to-library universe crossing was just the right blend of science and magic. Great job, dear.
