Guess what? I'm not dead! Neither is Gemma (I promise!), but she's rather busy right now.

I challenged my friend to an icon battle! We chose Doctor Who overall as a theme, and each chose our pics.

Again, I am stealing the format from icon_battle.

You both did a very beautiful job! XD

Now to be critical...

I think that generly, over all for those two little batches, I like theladylillith's better. Personally, I like more simplistic icons and tearcreek's icons tend to be more coplicated with some stand outs that are just close-ups with no or little text. I have a thing also about being able to read text on an icon. All this is YMMV though.

I like how we both picked a different half of the one with 10 and Donna. :)

Also, I'm totally going to need to steal your brain when I get to the blended images ten on my 10x10variated. I fail at that, always, and you clearly don't. :D

I can also never get text to work properly, haha...

Also also: Taking my icons is a-ok, usual rules apply. :)

on a personal level, i like tearcreek's style better - the colours and textures are gorgeous! :D

BELLA! I love your first Amy one, and the rose one is awesome <3. The wait, pan out one is also one of my favourites! (but then again, wet 11, I may be biased)

okay, lady lillith: the one of rose by the tardis is a masterpiece of cropping! your first Amy one is lovely and soft. While the last Amy one is unconventionally coloured I actually really like it <3

I will just point out favorites.

ladylillith
batch 1: interesting crop on 4
batch 1: simple and clean on 3
batch 2: simple and clean on 6

tearcreek
batch 1: 1 and 2 are so pretty, but the text is hard to read
batch 1: cool effect on 4
batch 2: 3 is wonderful lol.

I think it's awesome that for #5 in batch 2 you can't even tell that you two used the same image. You were both so creative!
