He said it as laughter tinged his tone. He had to be honest, he'd never seen someone so unwilling before to spend a dinner with their family. Though, with how she described her parents, Harry could understand the tension lingering in her body as they walked slowly through the town. It felt funny to be back here after all the time that had passed, their first Christmas together one he didn't think he'd ever really forget.
He hadn't come this way very often while he was at the Weasleys, the Fawcett house well on the other side of town. It was fate, he realized, when he made it past there that night.
"You know, I think it's going to be fine," he told her, nudging her side as he squeezed her hand. "Honestly- it can't be as bad as you keep thinking-"

"They're going to scare you away," she said, offering his an over dramatic pout as she knocked against him playfully. Though, there might have been a hidden fear in there somewhere, not that she wanted to actually admit to it.
She took a deep breath, a more serious expression now on her face.
"I've never done this, the meet the parents thing with a guy."

He had already known the Weasleys when he and Ginny seriously started dating. And while Mr. Weasley had taken him aside at one point, the conversation only lingered on the subject for a moment before he took Harry to see the old Playstation he had nicked from the Ministry offices.
He raked his fingers through his jet black hair, mussing it up a bit even as the wind whipped it around.
"We'll get through it," he told them. "And if worst comes to worst- I'll drop a Weasley stink bomb on the place and we'll escape. Plan?"

Though, she had to admit she loved it best when his hair was absolute chaos.
"You have the best ideas," she said, relaxing a little bit as laughter bubbled up from inside of her.
"Do you really have one of those on you?"
