Man, your characterzations puts any other to shame. You have these people as...just that so real so human. People. I love all the tiny things, Ino's bizzarre reasoning and her refusal to think that Shikamaru might be dealing with issues. Sakura's heartbreaking little sentence about "I can spare a half hour to talk." Man, she's hardcore with training.

As for the story itself, this is wonderful. Of course, there would still be after effects for Ino. Of course. And Neji coming into this, was a wonderful surprise. Your new characters seem pretty intriguing too, and they also uphold the theme of hard work and self-improvement that is so strong through the story. But then, I suppose for ninja it would! Keep up the great work!
